Publish with HAP
If your research fits one of our journals, we would like to read it. Here is what to expect.
Why publish with us
- Careful review. Double-blind review by at least two reviewers who know your field.
- Read by anyone. Open access under CC BY 4.0 from the day of publication, and you keep the copyright.
- Easy to find and cite. A DOI for every article, indexed in Google Scholar.
- Two issues a year. Each journal publishes a January–June and a July–December issue.
How to submit
- Choose the journal that matches your work; its Aim & Scope page explains what it covers.
- Prepare your manuscript using that journal's Author Guidelines, including the ethics, funding, conflict of interest and data availability statements.
- Register or log in, and submit through the journal's online system.
- Follow your manuscript's progress and reply to reviewers from your dashboard.
Charges
There is no submission fee. An Article Processing Charge is due only if your manuscript is accepted. The amount depends on the article type and on the World Bank income level of the corresponding author's country, and full or partial waivers are available. See, for example, the Biotechnology Today rates.
