Join Our Reviewer Team
Good reviewers are the backbone of any journal. TT is building an international pool of peer reviewers, and we would like to hear from researchers and practitioners who work in emerging technology.
Who Can Become a Reviewer
We welcome applications from people who meet one or more of these criteria:
- A PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree in emerging technology or a closely related field
- A record of peer-reviewed publications in emerging technology or closely related topics
- Active involvement in research, practice or teaching in emerging technology
- Expertise that fits TT's Aims and Scope
Early-career researchers with relevant publications are also very welcome. Some of the most careful reviews come from people close to the work itself.
What We Ask of Reviewers
- Objective, constructive and timely reviews
- Careful assessment of originality, rigour and relevance
- Strict confidentiality about everything you are sent
- Declaration of any conflict of interest
- Adherence to the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers
Reviewers advise; the final editorial decision rests with the editors.
Peer Review Model
TT uses double-blind review, so neither authors nor reviewers learn each other's identities.
Ethical Standards
If you suspect plagiarism, data manipulation or another ethical problem while reviewing, please raise it confidentially with the editor rather than with the authors.
Why Review for TT
- Recognition for your scholarly service
- An early view of new work in emerging technology
- A stronger academic and professional profile
- Acknowledgement by the journal, without compromising anonymity
